NYC AWAKENING TOUR FAQ’S
What is the date? – October 10th, 2020
What is the time? – 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Meet at 1:30 pm / Tour starts at 2:00 pm)
Is there a charge or a fee? – No. However donations are welcome on our website.
Where should I park? - Metered Parking is available near St. Paul's Chapel. Parking Garages are also available at 47 Church St. and at 21 Barclay St.
What is the schedule? –
1:30 PM - Meet at St. Paul's Chapel - 209 Broadway (between Fulton & Vesey St., near City Hall) Tour starts at 2:00 pm.
Site of Former Chatham St. Chapel, Charles Finney's first revival church of 1832, Corner of Park Place & Broadway.
Site of The Great Prayer Revival of 1857 - Corner of Fulton St. & William St.
St. John's Methodist Church - 44 John St. between Nassau St. & William St.
The Huguenot Revival Well - Corner of William St. & Liberty St. (Louise Nevelson Plaza)
Trinity Church - 89 Broadway (across from Wall St.)
Federal Hall - 26 Wall St. (across from Broad St.) Tour ends at 5:00 PM
What should I bring? – Water, money for food/drinks, mask, umbrella (if rain is forecast), instruments for worship if you want (guitars, shofars, banners, etc.)
Are there any COVID19 Protocols? – YES. You must wear a mask during the tour and social distancing is encouraged.
What should I wear? – Comfortable walking shoes, light jacket or sweater.
OTHER:
A tour badge, map, and tour bag will be provided upon arrival.
There will be a Starbucks coffee break mid-tour.
There will be limited availability of restrooms on the route.
There will be many places with outdoor dining in the area at the end of the tour should you want to get some dinner.
